Fund structure

STING Capital investors become stakeholders in the business in return for capital invested in the fund. Investors agree to make a series of regular payments to the fund. STING Capital has an agreement with the fund’s managing company STING Stockholm Innovation & Growth, whereby STING puts forward investment proposals and administers and develops the fund’s portfolio.

An investment manager is responsible for the day-to-day running of the fund and for evaluating any potential business ideas suitable for investment. Decisions on new investments, follow-up financing or sales of shares and convertible securities are taken by an investment committee which normally meets once a month. One or more investment ideas are presented at these meetings, which usually takes investment decisions during the same meeting. The committee is made up of representatives from the fund’s major investors.
